Colbert Jr.,, jwere married at Memorial Heights< jMethodist Church in Rock Island 1 on Saturday evening. Miss Rudasill's parents are Mr. and Mrs. George D. Ruclasill of Rock Island. Mr. Roy Colbert Sr. of Lewistown is the 'father of th? bridegroom. The double-ring ceremony was read by the Rev. Eugene Darling (before an altar decorated with jbaskets of white gladioli and (flanked by candelabra. Nuptial music was played on the ;organ by Miss Patricia Schad. jOliver Peterson was soloist. I Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white .Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over: |satin, designed with a princess) (Style bodice, bouffant skirt and! sabrina neckline. She wore a tiara of pearls and tulle flowers and )carried a cascade arrangement of 'frenched carnations and stephanotis. Maid of honor was Miss Janet Rudasill, sister of the bride. She wore a waltz-length dress of white lace over purple taffeta with a taffeta cummerbund and a matching bonnet. Her colonial bouquet was of white and lavender rarna- tions. Carry Colonial Bouquets Bridesmaids, Miss Barbara Man gels of Rock Island and Mrs. Kay Schwagerman of Tampico, wore pale lavender gowns styled similar-1 ly to Miss Rudasill's. They car-! ried colonial bouquets of purple; carnations. j Best man was Thomas J. Moore; of Canton. Groomsmen were James Kuhasich of Canton and Conrad Hopp of Peoria. Brothers of the bridegroom, Larry and LaVerne Colbert of Lewistown, were ushers. Two hundred and fifty guests attended the reception in the church parlors. A tiered wedding cake centered the bride's table. Lavender and purple flowers were used. Mrs. Colbert is a graduate of I Rock Island High School and at;tended Western Illinois State Col- jlege at Macomb. She is a member 'of Pi Kappa Sigma, social sorority. She plans to teach commercial studies in Chadwick High School this fall. Mr. Colbert was educated in Canton High School and University' of Missouri at Columbia, Mo. He was graduated from Western Illi-; nois State College in Macomb. He' ;has been a coach at Chadwick High, iSchool where he will coach again i ithis fall. j The couple will be at home in Chadwick after Sunday, June 30.
