la yee- U. a to E. the Will Hold Funeral Today at Stanford for Wm. H. Witham Funeral servlcea for William H. Witham, aged 76, resident of Allln township for tha past 8 yeara, will he held thla afternoon at 2:3U o'clock from the home in Stanford. Rev. H. P. Johnson, pastor of tha Stanford Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be made in the Mt. Pleas ant cemetery northeast of Stanford. Mt. Witham died Wednesday night at 11:20 o'clock at hla old homestead. now the home of hla eon, Alden, in Stnnford. He had been in feeble health for the past 20 yeara. but did not become bedfaat until last March. He waa born Auguat 30, 1A49, in Atherton county, Ohio. He came to Allln township in 1874 and on Jan uary 28, of that year, married Suaan James. Five children, four boys and one girl, were born to tha union, survive They are: Warren, Alden and Arthur Witham of Stnnford; Mn. Mamie (loddsrd. 1101 South Linden street. Normal, and Walter Witham of McLean. There are aleo nine grandchildren. Mr. Wtthim was a member of the Presbyterian church for many yeara ( and had long Deen a member or xng church board. He was an especially valued member of the building com mittee when the new church wae erected. He was a member of the Odd Fellow lodge. Arrowimith June 17. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hougham and daughter are In Eldorado Eldorado Springe, Mo., visiting hla brother, Rev. C. D. Hougham and family. The Jolly Circle club members met In Bloomington Wednesday with Mra. Emma Ehlera. The Friendship clasa will serve a supper Saturday evening at ma Christian church. Rev. and Mra. T. O. Rachelor. Mlsa Ruth Ashby and Martha Oil- Oil- more attended commencement at Eureka college Tueaday. Mr. and Mra. Fred Btiilta and aona Charles and Jamea, their dauchtera Mra. Eva West, Mra. Var na Smith and Mra. Luclle Bane attended attended the funeral of Mra. Bullta'a brother-ln-law, brother-ln-law, brother-ln-law, brother-ln-law, brother-ln-law, Mr. Oeorge Hlhbard In Teorla Wednesday.
