Mrs. Sam Dennis Jessie M. Dennis, 90, Humboldt, died Saturday, April 3, at the Neosho Memorial Hospital in Chanute. Mrs. Dennis was bom August 11, 1895, in Piqua and was married to Abe Driskill February 22, 1913, in Yates Center, They made their home in the Neosho Falls area, except for the period from 1916 to 1923 during which they lived in Stuart, Nebraska. Mr. Driskill died December 4, 1952, and she married Sam Dennis in 1962. They moved from Neosho Falls to Humboldt in 1969. Mrs. Dennis was a member of the Methodist Church in Neosho Falls. Survivors include her widower of the home; two sons, Harold Driskill, CoUinsville, Oklahoma, and Lee Driskill, Lake Charles, Louisiana; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Jeanie) Guatney, Alexandria, Virginia, and Mrs. Robert (Leona) Hixon, Skiatook, Oklahoma: a step-son, Austin Dennis, Parsons; a step-daughter, Mrs. Ernie (Peggy) Renfro.- Lockwood. Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Henry, Neosho Falls, and Mrs. Dorothy Oswald, Pleasanton; 12 grandchildren^ and 18 great­ grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at the Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronald Bumstead officiated. Burial was in the Cedarvale Cemetery in Neosho Falls.
