by of the received to a of in Central H. H. Fasig STANFORD. (PNS) H. H. Fasig, 84, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Witham at 4 a. m. . Friday, following a short illness. - Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. (standard) Sunday at the McReynolda. funeral home in McLean McLean and at 2:30 p. m. at the Stanford Stanford Methodist church. Mr. Fasig waa the eldest son of Jacob and Sara Fasig and was born in Richland county, Ohio, March 20, 1856. He was one of 10 children. He lived in Ohio until 188 when he came with his parents to Illinois and settled in Clark county near Martinsville. In 1875 he came to McLean. On Oct. 2, 1879 he was married to Mrs. Catherine Overaker who died in 1920. They were the parents of three daughters, two of whom survive, Mrs. Arthur Witham of Stanford and Mrs. C. C. Geisert of Gardena, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Fasig lived on a farm near Funks Grove during which time he organized and was superintendent of the - Sunday school at the Funks Grove church, later moving to McLean "where he was a member of the Methodist church and, served on the official board. Since 1922 he has made his home with . his daughter, Mrs. Witham. tie is also survived by seven grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Frona Messner, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Nettie Daugherty, Boston, 111.; Mrs. Cella Seaton and Mrs. Emma Williams, both of Martinsville and one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
