ELLWOOD PATRIOT : JOINS U. S. ARMY Harvey Critchlow of Fourth !Ward Goes To Coast Artillery. The first young man to volunteer to join the United States army under Sargeant Meredith, who came here from New Castle and started a headquarters headquarters in the Ellwood City building, building, is Harvey Critchlow of the Fourth Ward. . Mr. Critchlow enlisted, and passed the examination, and has already been sent to Columbus, Ohio, where he will be assigned to the Coast Artillery. Artillery. Mr. Critchlow Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Critchlow of the Fourth Ward, and Is a bright young man with many friends here. . . He has been a .resident here for years and is about twenty years of age. A number of young men have been to the recruiting station and have been given information regarding the requirements. It is expected that a number from here will be volunteers.
