the Rer. Civile Douthat. Dastor of the I loc^ Methodist church. WILLIAM E.'NEAL DIES FROM PNEUMONIA FEVER News of the death of William B. Neal Sunday morning, at his home in Steelsburg, Va,, near here, was received with a note of sadness and sympathy in this section. Mr. Neal died early Sunday morning, following following an illness of bronchial pneumonia fever, covering a period of three days. Although the deceased -had been suffering from rheumatism for practically the entire winter, his -condition -condition was not regarded with • concern concern until the attack of fever came, Friday. Mr. Neal had been a resident of the neighborhood of Steelsburg and Paint Lick all his life, being a farmer by occupation. He wdn_the good opin ion and respect of many in this sec tiou by his integrity and strength of character. He had the reputation of being a good business man and a scientific farmer. AVilfiam Elgin Neal was, born September September 8, 1863, and was sixty-two years of age when his death came. He was a son of Jimmio and Mrs. Caroline Neal, both natives of this state. Besides numerous admlresr and friends of this section, he leaves the following to mourn their loss: Two brothers, Elbert Neal, of Kansas, and Tom, of Lodl," Washington county, Va.; besides a widow and the following following sons and daughters—J. W. Neal, of Wilkesborougli, N. C|I J. E. Neal, of Steelsburg; Mrs. Roy Kelster, of Beckley, W. Va., and Mrs. E. M. Steele, Bluefleld, Va.
