Tho prisoners and the charges iire: J. W. Adams, Joplin, vagrancy; Lula Davis, Joplin, forgery; J. A. Foster, Burrell Lowe, Vaul ntid Fred Jenkins, I'lttsburg, felonious assault and highway robbery. Albert Vcrkler ot Carthage v,'us admitted to the jail this afternoon and is held on a charge of pettit larceny in coni\ectlon with the thett ot a pair ot trousers from tho tailor shop of James Cronin, here. The parole of Frank Presley who was released a few weeks ago for good behavior, was revoked by Jud,go S. W. Bates and tho man was returned to tho jail yesterday to serve tho balance ot a yentence on a charge ot po.sscssion of liquor. Pi-es- ley has a balance of six months to serve. Failure to %vork is given as the cause of revoking the parole.
