MOSAIC TILE design is being prepared for display by .LeGrande Fletcher prior to an open house Sunday of a craft studio in the garage adjacent to the Bertha Eccles Art Center, 2580 Jefferson. Establishment of the studio was conceived by Mr. Fletcher. e Turns Craft A 45-year-old garage which was once the center, of local Red Cross activity, will be given a new lease on life Sunday when it opens as a craft studio in conjunction with the Bertha Eccles Art Center. The garage v,-as part of the old Eccles property which became an art center in 1959. Since that time it has stood largely idle with the center's heating unit in the basement basement and an apartment for caretaker caretaker Marvin Hayes and his family upstairs. The garage measures about 24x 36 and now contains equipment for creating jewelry, ceramics, mosaic tile, leathercraft, copper enameling and other popular craft forms. Ogdenites will have a chance to take a look at their new craft center Sunday when it will be open to the public for the first time. Art center officials are planning a lea from 2 to 5 p.m. Mr. Fletcher said classes in craft work should begin about May 1. _
