Death Claims Sonfflas UcLeviu After a lingering illness of almost a year, during which time everything known to medical science had been done ADD FOUR HUNDRED THREE In an effort to baffle the great white plague, Douglas McLevin passed away shortly after 10 o'clock this morning at the family home on West G street. For weeks the end had been expected but it came nevertheless as a severe shock to the bereaved young wife, whose mother arrived only a short time ago from Canada, to aid In the care of the husband, all other relatives of each being In Canada of which the deceased was a native. Mr. McLevin was hut 26 years of age. For the past three years he and his wife had made Colton their home. For a time he managed the Ten Cent store opened here by Mr. Page of San Rer- nardino, later taking a position as chem- 1st with the California Portland Cement I company, - reslgning-his position when his health began to fall. Scores of friends here mourn his untimely passing. As yet no funeral arrangements have been made, pending word from relatives in Canada.
