UPPEK ALTON. OBITUARY—Mrs, Annie, wife of Rev. W. B. Lile, who has been a resident of Upper Alton for four months past, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon, from a cerebral tumor. The deceased has been helpless for the past nine weeks, during which time she has suffered .greatly, and received .the tenderest car.e at the bands of her devoted husband and kind neighbors. For the past few days her sufferings have been growing less, and her husband left her,with brighter hopes of her near retoyery than for many weeks, at her request to procure something for her in Alton, but a little more •.ban an hour before her death, and was absent at the arrival of the dark angel. The only other member of the family is ayouug lady who has made her borne with Mr. and Mrs. Lile for some years past. The funeral was held at the house Thursday afternoon, Dr. Bulkley officiating, assisted by Rev. Mr. V\ aggoner and Dr. Kendrick. The remains were taken to Orion, Henry county, for interment beside an infant child,
