Harry & Kathleen Antrobus divorce claims denied
Divorce Denied Both Husband and Wife Holding that evidence hart been insufficient to sustain allegations by either spouse, Judge Boynton Saturday afternoon entered a decision decision dismissing opposing divorce complaints by Mrs. Kathleen An- irobus and her husband, Harry Antrobus. Testimony had occupied occupied City Court for the most of two days. Mrs. Antrobus sued for divorce on grounds of cruelty, and Antrobus then filed a counterclaim- counterclaim- against his wife making statutory allegations. Each denied allegations of the oner. Both had sought custody of their two minor children. During the trial Judge Boynton made a ruling that neither of the parties to the suits would be permitted permitted to relate statements of the other which were given to their minister When they had jointly conferred with him prior to the divorce litigation. The ruling ol the court was that what was told 'the clergyman was in nature oi a privileged confidential communication, communication, testimony on which by either of the litigants would be contrary to public policy.
