CHICAGO NEGRO YOUTH IN LOCAL HOMES The City Missionary Society, a project of the Council of Churches in Chicago, is sponsoring a "Friendly Town" program for underprivileged children in ten* Mid-Western States this summer. They have sent 675 youth, age 6-11 for two week vacations in the homes of rural people. Four of these youth are in local homes in Moravia. Here are the names of the local youth and their host families Sheri Houston with Mr. and Mrs. Richard" Tubaugh, Lawrence Patrick with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Whitehead, Diane Houston with Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Dooley, and William Patrick with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Cloyed. These youth are all Negro and attend the House of Service, a community Presbyterian mission in south-west Chicago. They will return to Chicago on July 23.
