Daisy M. Minnick Mrs. Daisy M. Minnick, 84, of Saxton R.D., died at 11:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, 1978, in the J C. Blair Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years. Born Dec. 12, 1894, in Broad Top Township, she was the daughter of Samuel and Barbara Jane (Brown) Meek. She married Robert 0. Minnick Nov. 25, 1915. He preceded her in death Nov. 16, 1951. She is survived by eight children: Mrs. Florence White of Six Mile Run; Henry Minnick of Fayetteville; Wilbert Minnick of Wasilla, Alaska; Harry Minnick of Laurel, Md.; Richard Minnick of Dudley; Mrs. Paul (Alberta) Brown of Broad Top City; Mrs. Tony (Marie) Angelo of Saxton R.D.; and Mrs. James (Barbara) Rickabaugh of Robertsdale. Thirty - eight grandchildren, 57 great - grandchildren and one great - great grandchild also survive. She is also survived by a brother, Samuel Meek of Defiance, and a sister, Ethel Duvall of Greencaslle. Two sons, Charles and Earl, were killed in Korea and one daughter also preceded her in death. She was of the Protestant faith. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 3:30 p.m., from the Albert N, Masood Funeral Chapel, Saxton, with the Rev. Robert Raycroft officiating. Interment will be made in Hopewell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
