Sidney Henry Sidney G. Henry, 80, Hillsdale, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at the Indiana Hospital. The son of John C. and Florence J. Rager Henry, he was born Aug. 14, 1919, in Montgomery Township, Indiana County. Mr. Henry enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1941. He served in England, Germany, France and Holland until discharged in 1945. During World War II, he was part of the D-Day Invasion at Normandy. He retired in 1979 after working for the Pennsylvania turnpike as a surveyor and draftsman for 20 years. He was also a member of the Purchase Line Lions Club. He and his wife, Berniece McQuown Allison Henry were married on June 30,1954. He is survived by his wife; stepson Robert W. Allison and his wife, Mari- iynn Parry-Allison, Erie; step grandchildren Deborah Allison-Logan and her husband, Todd, Hershey, and Robert V Allison and his wife, Laura, Elizabethtown and step- great-grandchildren Abigail and Ian Logan, Hershey; Dylan, Kathlyn and Shane Allison, Elizabethtown, and Timothy R. Truitt, U.S. Coast Guard, stationed in Ketchikan, Alaska. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert F. Henry and Murray R. Henry and his wife, Roberta, Cherry Tree RD 2. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers John, James, Delmont, Almont and Alvin Henry and his sisters, Beulah Orr and Alice Baker. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Hillsdale, where a 2 p.m. service will be held Saturday. Pastor Arthur L. Black will officiate. Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery, Hillsdale. Military rites will be conducted by the Glen Campbell American Legion Fee-Pennington Post.
