Change Comfort Station Improvement Plans Changes in plans for the improved entrances to the comfort station, Fifth and Penn streets, were presented to councilmen yesterday at a conference in Mayor Stump's office. The changes, explained by Councilman Stewart E. Tomlinson and Charles H. Muhlenberg, architect, will be shown to property owners at the southwestern corner for approval. The new entrances to the underground station will take less side walk space than the ones now in use, but will be wider and easier to descend or climb than the present flights. A wide landing will be provided for each stairway and more storage space underground will be made available. As soon as the plans are completed and approved bids for the contract will be asked. The work will likely be done in the coming summer.
