Peru, Ind.,- Jan.- [23.—Jerry jMugivari, age fifty-s.ix, for many lyears a prominent and. widely known circus man in the country, died Wednesday "night in Harper's | Hospital. Detroit, where he un^ j derwent a surgical operation a few' days ago. It was believed he Wpuld recover, but he suffered a relapse late last-night, resulting in his^dcath.. His wife, and Bert Bowers, who for many yea.rs was his associate in the circus business were at his bedside when death -came. Tho body will b3 brought here for burial. s * Mugivan was one of Peru's wealthiest citizens. He atid Mrs. Mugivan recently moved info' thcir L new palatial i home here,' which was-said to be one of 1 the finest in this vicinity.-He is survived by the widow, two brothers, James P. Mugivan, Indianapolis',' and Charles Mugivan, "Tjerre Haute,.'.and two sisters, Mrs>. Mamie O'dea, and Mrs. * Edward^ LP. Moore, both of Tene Haute.
