(}--A'jet training plane crashed into heavy woods just east of the Oceaha Naval Air Station yesterday, carrying two Navy fliers to their de'aths. v The Navy immediately began an investigation to learn what caused the crash. Officials at the air base said the two-seater jet, based here, had been in the air for about 90 minutes on a local instrument training flight when it crashed. The pilots did not send any radio emergency or distress calls. Names of the victims were withheld pending notification of their next of kin. The plane apparently came into the woods, just off 'Seatack Road about a mile east of here, at a 45 degree angle and at high speed. Big trees were sheared off by the aircraft, which was demolished. Parts of the planr smoldered in a large hole at the base of a tree after the accident shortly after 3 p. m. The plane and fliers were attached to the Fleet All Weather Traning Unit, Detachment B, at Oceana NAS. An insane person may be cured
