Bressler TO . BE SOLD IT AUCTION IN THEJITTER BDOT Missoula, Oct. 16.--Horses that arc descendants of the Marcus Daly animals on the Bitter Root Stock farm at Hamilton years ago are RO over- the auction block in the valley this week. Twenty horses of standard blood, both' draft and saddle animals, are to be sold at at the Ward ranch, seven miles of Hamilton. When the Daly estate disposed the horses following the death of Marcus Daly, S. N. Ward acquired most of the brood marcs to perpetuate the standard bloods. They formed the foundation stock for the dorses that Mr. Ward has bred, 20 of them are to be sold Thursday. Two horses of the "Ward breeding, which are descendants of the old Daly ttock, appeared on the race track at the Western Montana fair here this year. They were "Bitter Root Bell," owned by Alex Chaffin, and "Mollic Spanker," owned by T. I'ttzgibbons.
