Comrade Z. Plumb, Stuart, Iowa, writes us as follows: Maxwell Post, of this place, attended memorial service the morning of the 27th ult. at the Congregational church, and in the evening evening at the Methodist On the 30th, services wero held in Ryan's Hall, which was filled. The services were opened by music by the Uni-versalist Uni-versalist choir ; prayer by the chaplain ; recitation recitation of the poem "Cover Them Over," by Miss Nettie Moulton, and an oration by Rev. Mr. Rodgers, an old army chaplain. A procession procession was formed and marched to the cemetery cemetery and strewed flowers on the graves of soldiers soldiers buried there.
