MRS. MUGIYAN DIES; WIDOW OF PEBU CtRCOS MAGNATE AND BANKER DEES OF HEART AILMENT. Rebekah of Indianapolis, Oct. 24.--(fP)--Mrs. Mary Edith Mugivan, 65, widow Jerry. Mugivan, 'Peru banker and circus magnate, died hero today Methodist hospital of a heart ailment, Mrs. Mugivan was bom in Mo., and first went to Peru in 1909 v.'hen her husband became connected with the Hagenbeck-Wallace circus. They returned in 1916 Mugivan and Bert Bowers bought the Ben Wallace interests and formed the American Circus Corporation. Since her husbi"d's.death in 1930, Mrs. Mugivan has lived in their .$100,000 home at Peru. Mrs. Mugivan was a philanthropist whose gifts included $50,000 to the St. Charles Catholic school at Peru. She was a director in the Wabash Valley Trust company. Survivors include two sisters, Josephine Thompson of Sparta, Mrs. Addle Cunningham, of Claremore, Okla., a Brother, John Clare- soe, and a halC brother, John Simpson, both oi Sparta. Funeral, services tentatively are set for at Peru.
