Mr. Harvey Tyson, the contractor for laying the pipes of the Reading Steam Heating Company, yesterday received a bill amounting to $119 that he had not taken into his calculations when he under took the job. On Saturday, as already stated in the Times, the workmen engaged in blasting the trenches for the steam heating pipes, broke the main supply pipe of the Gas Company on Sixth street near Court. The escaping gas oozed through the ground, and on bemg ignited, sent forth a brilliant name several yaras in length and several feet in height. It looked very pretty and attracted the admiring attention of hundreds of spectators. It seems.tkough, that it will be a rather expensive spectacle.
