It's in CinemaScope and technicolor, and shows »it the American Theatre today and Monday. --------------------y Greer Garson, appearing before the Texas Legislature a week or so ago, told the Texas lawmakers that she wanted to bo known as “Ma" Fogelson. In private life Miss Garson is really Mrs. Buddy Fogelson. and they call Dallas their home. Greer, known for her Mrs. Miniver movies in which she acquired her “Oscar,” has never made a western that is, until now. But the the American Theatre on Sunday and Monday Bonham movie-goers can see her in "Strange Lady in Town,” in which she is co-starred with Dana Andrews and Cameron Mitchell. It’s in CinemaScope and techni color, and w’as directed by one of Hollywood’s top directors, Mervln LeRoy. The story is laid in old Santa Fe, and concerns a lady doctor and her practice in the rough and ready town. Tuesday brings a celebrated story to the American screen. It’s Mark Twain’s unforgettable “Man With A Million,” and Gregory Peck is starred. The story is about a fellow w’ho is as broke as a man possibly could be, suddenly coming into possession of a million dollar bill. He really has himself a time, with no one being able to give him change when he buys anything. The picture is in technicolor, and 1« one of the year’s better pictures. It will play through Thursday.
