Two Killed as Plane Crashes In Deseri Area Deputy Coroner E. P. Doyle reported that two Army fliers were killed and two others parachuted to safety yesterday after their ferry command plana caught fire in the air over Coyote lake near Camp Irwin in ths San Bernardino county desert district. Names of the victims were not immediately announced by the Army. Deputy Coroner Doyle said the ship was from an Army base at Dallas, Texas. The accident occurred at 6:30 a.m. The fire is believed to have started in the bomb bay of the ship, which was badly burned in the crash. The two men who parachuted to safety were taken to the hospital at Camp Irwin, which is located 40 miles north of Bar-stow. About 1,800 letters converted into V-mail are not much larger than a package of cigarettes.
