B., 1; Sixth Street U. B., 1, and Memorial Lutheran Church, 1 point. State Champion Wins W. Ronald Davies, of the Wil liamsport Lutheran Church and P.I.A.A. State champion low hurdler, was the high individual scorer of the meet as he won three first places for a total of 15 points m winning the 100 - yard dash, the 220 - yard dash and the 200 - yard low hurdles. Davies in winning the 220 - yard dash ran the race in 22.6 seconds to equal the meet record set by Prigg, Second Baptist, way back in 1932 Harriet Mitchell, a William Penn High School senior lassie and representing the Bethel A.M.E. Church, was the star of the meet in the girls' division, Harriet not only was the high scorer over and above all of the girls with 14 points but also broke the record in the baseball throw as she threw the horsehide pill a distance of 235 feet and 1 inch to break the record of 232 feet and 6 inches by Mary Jones in 19J1. Mitchell placed first in the basketball throw and second in the 50 - yard dash to top the girls and run a close second to Ronald Davies of Billport. Gwendolyn Taylor, winner of the . 50 - yard dash for girls, the century dash and getting a tie for second place in the girls' high jump, was the second high scorer of the meet in the girls section with the speedy lassie accunui' lating 13 points to push Har riet Mitchell to the limit, for in dividual honors. Edward TemDle. John Harris' dash man. grabbed off 13 points by getting second places in the 100 and 220 - yard dashes and winning the broad jump short of 20 feet. Davidson Takes Shot - Put Donald Davidson, P.I.A.A. dis cus champion, . won the shot - put event out was nosed out in the discus which was won by the record holder. Robert Cornman. Augsburg Lutheran, who has been in the entire 14 Sunday School meets. Cornman in winning yes terday, using the light discus, now holds both the heavy and light discus records, as he whipped the steel plate 136 feet lYa inches. The heavy discus will be discontinued in the annual Sunday School meets. Prior to meet time.
