PR1MO TOCCAFONDI Completes Studies For Doctorate CREEKSIDE - Primo Toc- cafondi, coordinator for the Newark (Delaware) School District's career education program, program, has completed studies for his Ed.D at Nova University. University. Dr. Toccafondi, formerly of Creekside, received his bachelor's bachelor's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and his Masters of Education at the University of Maryland. Upon completion of his undergraduate undergraduate work, he served three years in the U.S. Army as platoon leader and executive executive officer of a Nike Hercules Missile Battery at Fort MacArthur, MacArthur, Cal., and officer responsible responsible for the Post Exchange, Exchange, and Officers Open Mess at Fort Irwin, Cal. Prior to assuming the role of career coordinator in 1971, Dr. Toccafondi was a mathematics teacher at Newark High School and Christiana Junior High Schools, since coming to Newark Newark in 1966. He has been active in various various professional organizations such as Phi Delta Kappa Educational Fraternity, the National and Delaware Councils Councils of Mathematics, Newark Schools Education Association, and Delaware Association for School Administrators. In 1974, he was the recipient of the "Outstanding Young Men of America Award." Dr. Toccafondi currently resides resides at Newark with his wife, Susanne, and daughters, Toni and Christine.
