- Staff of 135th StTLibrary Gives Reception To Winold Reiss, Prominent Artist Winold Reiss, prominent German ar tist who did the illustrations for the Har !em number of the Survey Graphic and whose potxaits oi prominent Negroes are now on exhibit at the 135th Street Library, was tendered a reception by the library staff last week. Among the guests present were L Hol - lingsworth Wood. Miss Elizabeth Wal ton, Prof, and Mrs. William Pickens, Mrs. Ruth Logan Roberts. John Logan. Mrs. Janet Smith of New Brighton, S. I., Percy Green. Paul Kellogg, editor ot the Survey Graphic, and Mrs. Elise Johnson McDougald. The potraits on exhibit at the library include those of: Mrs. Mary McLeod Dethune, Dr. W. E. B. DuBois.
