Funeral of Barid SpUter. Funcrsl sen-ices for David Spiker, J014 Merchant, who died Sunday is a Kansas City hospital, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at th6 home. Rev _ c L Hovgard. pastor o£ the ¡ pirst M9 j hodist chu rch. conducted th Bsrv ices. Interment wes made in Siapletrood cemetery. E. J. Lewis and Rica Brown sang, accompanied br Mrs, Brown. The pallbearers were: Prank N. Strausbaugh. Freed E. Sutton. Bert Sponseíler, William A. Glad- feller, Page Kicklin, and Joña WhitUeton. David W. Spiker -was born In 1S62 ¡n Harrison county, Ohio, the son of G. W. and Sica Spiker. He moved with his parents to Lyon count? in 1SS4.' He was married to Miss Nettie Service Jlarch 30, 1S9S, and she died October IS, 1S22. Mr. Spiker is survived by four children. They are: Richard Guy Spiker, of Hutchinson, Aliss Katherine Spiker, Kobert Spiker and Annis Spiker, who live at home. Out-of-town persons who attended the funeral were: John H. Spiker. o£ Walters, Okla.; Kev. W. D. Spiker, of New Hampton, Iowa, and Charles J. Spiker, of Sioux City, Iowa. Mr. Spiker was a member of tho house ot representatives troni 1910 to 191Í.
