FIRST CIRCUS OF YEAR COMES HERE FOR TWO SHOWS Downie Brothers Bring Along Whole Indian Village The circus is in town! The Charles Sparks - managed Downie Brothers circus, with its city of tents is at Twenty - first and Greenwood streets. The precision - like work of the canvas men and razor backs in erecting the tented city provided week - end entertainment for hundreds hundreds of spectators who were on hand from the minute the circus train began unloading. In addition to the big top, the animal and cook tents, there are the picturesque wigwams of Reb Russell's Indian village. Russell will leave the circus lot this evening evening to appear on the Radio Roundabouter's program over station WKBO at 5.45 o'clock.
