of high and the Guard Officers To Make Survey Will fay Visit To Camp Irwin Nevada, national guard officers will make a preliminary survey.of facilities at Camp Irwin, near Ear- stow, Calif., later this month. The site will be used'by ground forces of the Nevada national during the annual summer field encampment, from- July 13 to July' 27, More than 500 men'will attend this year's encampment, during which the local 421st AAA Gun battalion will be attached to the AAA Brigade, California National Guard, for administration and training. Various units from Nevada which will attend the two weeks' encampment encampment include the 137th Transportation, Transportation, Highway Transportation group, with Headquarters and quarters co,, and,the following companies: the 122d Transportation Truck co. from Tfenngton and the 21Sih Transportation Truck co. from Boulder City; the 226th Controlled Airplane detachment, Minden. The 116th AAA Operations Detachment, Detachment, Fallon; the 47th Army band, Carson; the 428th Radar- Maintenance Unit, Carson; the Medical Detachment, 421at AAA Gun battalion, Reno; and the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, Carson. In addition, of couise, the local -121st AAA battalion will also participate. A number of officers from the various units involved will make the survey trip. Nevada National guard officials said that many vacancies still for enlisted personnel, commissioned commissioned and non-commissioned officers, officers, and any enlistee between ages of 17 and 35 vears.
