visiting J. Boyer, Paul M. 16 Miss Thomas Is Bride Of Major C. O. Ropers The wedding of Miss Elizabeth Clark Thomas, daughter of Mr. Mrs. W. Frank Thomas. Westminister, and Major Charles Osborn Rogers, United States Marine son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rogers, New Orleans, La., was solemnized on Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock in Ascension Episcopal church, Westminster. Rev. Richard M. Lundberg, rector, officiated. \ The bride wore a gown of moire faille with a long train. sweetheart neckline, long tight pointed sleeves, and finger-tip veil with net-frilled coronet. She car- [ned a prayer book with a single gardenia shower. Her father gave her in marriage. Her matron of honor, Mrs. G. Bartlett, Takoma Park, wore light blue taffeta gown with shirred gores in the skirt and sweetheart neckline. Her sister, Miss Rebecca Ann Thomas, the other attendant, wore light pink marquisette, with self-trimmed ruffling and full skirt. Both carried arm bouquets of spring flowers and wore matching bandeaus. Major J. W. Capeharle was man. Major F. F. Parry and N. M. Pace, all of Quantico, Va., | and Francis W. B. Thomas, of the bride, were ushers. The four officers served together in combat duty on Guadalcanal. A reception for the immediate families and intimate friends was held at the home of the bride's parents, "Broadacres." Topping three-tier wedding cake was a miniature marine and his bride.
