Doug- lai, Tuesday evening in the first of four performances presented by Salt Lake County Recreation and Parks Department. . . -• In Lead Bole* In the lead role's of the popular operetta, which began at 8:30 p.m.-, were pretty Mrs. Robin G. Bennion as /,'Kathie," and a handsome German music student, Winfried Czerny, as "Prince Karl Franz/' A large cast, Including a 50-voice chorus, a 22-piece orchestra and 20 dancers, gave ab'le support to the leads under direction of Mrs. Winifred Erickson. ' Repeats Thursday The production will be presented again Thursday evening with Mrs. Bennion and Mr. Czerny singing the lead roles. On Wednesday and Friday evenings, the leads will be sung by Mrs. Marion Griffiths, and Philip R. Gregerson. A fair-sized audience attended the Tuesday evening performance to see and hear the story of a prince's ill- fated love for a pretty waitress in the old university city of .Heidelberg. , - lovely Setting .
