They were stuck on with a bit of that milky, all- purpose glue and make quite a conversation piece in our home.—MARIE. Members of the Union church honored Miss Marilyn Price with a pre-wedding shower in the church basement Monday night. Miss Price and Mr. John Meneely expect to ge married in August. She received many beautiful and useful gifts. The basement was decorated by Mrs. Elizabeth Kaufmann and Mrs. Arlene Crowe and Mrs. Doris Breeden. Mrs. Opal Steen and Mrs. Elizabeth Benskin led in the games. Refreshments of cake and punch were served. Mrs. Myrtle Fleshman has sold her property at Sturges to Leo Beal. She expects soon to move to St. Joseph for a residence near her children. Mrs. Fleshman has been very active in church services. She was presented a Bible by the Union church Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Steen and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Benskin and family attended the 100th anniversary of the Zion church last Sunday Mrs. Clarence Childers, who has been having an eye infection, is improving.
