With the arrest of three persons, one a high school student, enforce ment agencies said tonight they had broken a "dope ring" believed to be peddling marijuana to high school students for several months. ' Bob Bogden, 19, West high school pupil, was arrested as he reportedly took a tobacco can full of mari juana from his school locker. Pete Hernandez, 56, was arrested In pos session of quantities of the weed. Simultaneously, Corona Mersldes, 40, was arrested as she attempted to sell a marijuana "stick," or clg- arct. Two other men, also sought In a series of raids today and believed to be the "brains" of the ring, were still unapprehended. Police said Bogden admitted sell ing the dope on the West high campus since early in January. The arrests climaxed several weeks of investigation Into reported "hay smoking" parties among West high students. According to disclosures today, the "ring" employed at least threa "runners" to supply the student traffic.
