Suspects Are Charged With Posession And Sale Of Narcotic Weed MERCED (Merced Co.), Aujf. 8. --Two men wer« »rreated by a (quad of officem headed by ^heriff N. Il Cornell to-day on complaints issued by District Attorney F. A. Sllvcira charging the sale and pos- msslon of Indian hemp, a narcotic weed commonly known as marijuana. marijuana. The men are Joseph Montalvo, 25, ,of 330 Fifteenth .Street and G. Nash, 24, who resides . between Fourteenth and Fifteenth Streets near H Street. .Sheriff Cornell says several eight- foot marijuana plants : were, found growing in the yard near the house occupied by Nash.
