Tn addition to her Alton relatives, Mrs. Wright is survived survived by a son, Earle, of Philadelphia. Philadelphia. Payne Mrs. Mildred Payne, 55, wife of Clarence Payne, Rte. 4, Godfrey, Godfrey, died at 7:55.a.m. today in St. Joseph's Hospital following three years of failing health. A native of Mardin County, she was born March 1, 1912 at Cafe-in-Rock, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lunce Simonia. Simonia. Her early life was spent, in Hardin County where she at tended school and was graduated graduated from Cave-in-Rock High ichool. She had been a resident of \lton area since 1943. Survivors beside her husband ire a son, Larry Dean, at lome: a daughter, Mrs. Patricia \nn Damms, Alton; two sisters, Mrs. Uldeen Newton, Elizabeth- own, and Mrs. Irene Hall, Car- jondale. There are two grand- :hildren. A brother and a sis- er preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Saturday Saturday at 1 p.m. in Gent Chapel Allowed by burial in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation at the funeral home will be after fi p.m. Friday. BKTHALTO
