Eiots auoso oca Fibkukn. At the fire, yesterday morning, a fight cccurreu between thn MV ashingloa" and "Fairmount' Engine Companies. Several mem bcrs of each company were severely beaten, and .a young man who, it is said, runs with the Washing ton Engine, had his head cut in a shocking manner, by an individual who opposed him and wielded a spanner. We recommend tbe presence or our police at the next fire which may occur; perhaps they may awe the refractory into obedience of the laws, and prevent any further outbreaks of such a scandalous nature. -
