Between Sand 3 o'clock on Saturdov merning, a fire broke out in the carpenter shop of Mr. Joseph Anthony, aitualed in the rear ol Browning's ferry house, at Ihe corner of Marsh and Penn streets. Kensineton. which, w ith all his tools, w aa entirely dest roved. Loss of 500. A atable adjoining, belonging to Mr. Browning, conlainine a waaon and a ouaniitv of hav and straw, with another frame building, used aa a storehouse by Mr. B. in which ha kept provi - aiona and liquors, waa also consumed; whoae lose will not fall abort of flCOO. Several bnais were burnt; and a room containing a shuffle - board. The fire ia supposed to be tbe act of an incendiary, as no fire waa nted in Ihe ahop. Afore Scadlou$ Outrage. At the above fire, ihe membeia of the Fairmount Engine Company beat from the ground Ihe members of the Good mil tngine Company, in consequence ol which the members of other companies were compelled to take charge of the apparatus of the Good Will Company, and deposits it in their engine boose.
