Miss Moore And Mr. Eley Marry In Church Ceremony The marriace of Miss v « t 0 ^ ' , The marriage of Miss K a t Hunt Moore, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Willie Douglas Moore of Halifax, Halifax, to James Forest Elev, of Norton, son of Mr. and Mrs. \V W Eley, of Petersburg, took place Saturday, October 27, at 3 o'clock in Union Methodist C h u r c h , Halifax County. The doublo ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. i'. N Moore, before an improvised altar altar of palms, candelabra, a n d white flowers. M r s . Raleigh T. Cassada, pianist, rendered a program program of music. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of import lace over satin and illusion fell from a and pearis. Sundav af- Special Services Held In Disputanfa DISPUTANTA, Nov. 3 -- The Trinity Methodist Church h e r e held a service of dedication for gifts and memorials, last Sunday morning in the recently redecorated redecorated Sanctuary. The call to dedication dedication was led by the Rev. L. V. Ruckman, pastor. L. L. Beazley, a layleader of the Church, presented presented the gifts and memorials, which were accepted by J. Lee Thacker, trustee and a member of the official board. Dr. Hugh Burleigh, superintendent superintendent of Petersburg District, delivered delivered the sermon. Special music was rendered by Mrs. L.
