She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Eiza! beth Kincaid of Dallas; three j brothers, Joe Fee Wililams of J Houston; Farrell and E. W. Williams of Dallas; granddaughter, Mrs. Wallace Corley 1 and two grandchildren. Sabrina j and Angela Corley, all of Gar-1 land. Mrs. Powell was bom in Wylie. December 28, 1892, the daughter of William Harrison i.nd Lenora Bowman Williams. She was married to Louis N. Powell August 18, 1913. She had been a member of the Christian Church since 1904, being active in all phases of the church. She was elected s e c r e t a r y-treasurer of the church board in 1911 and had continued to serve on the board. She was the first deaconess elected to tlie board. Mis. Powell taught in the junior of the Sunday School for several years and was a member arid former pies- ident of the Christian Women's Fellowship. She was the first president of
