Bride of John Herring Linda Lee Wilkins wed A double ring ceremony Jure 19 In the Fust Untied Methodist Church, Unwwa. united in marriage Linda Lee Wiikins and John R. Herring, both nt Onconla. The bride is the daughter o! Mrs. Lucy Wilkins ot 6 Raymond Ave.. Oneonta, and the late Harold E. Wilkens. The Broom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Osierhou: ot 3 Suncrest Terrace, Oneonta. The Rev. Roswell Lyon performed the ceremony. Mrs. Barbara Jones was organist and Maurice Black was soloist. The bride's uncle Russell Black gave her in marriage. Her bridal gown was styled o! organza with lilted bodice and modified skirt. Lace trimmed the long illusion mantilla. She carried a cascade of white pompons and pink sweetheart roses. Miss Marilou Wilkins. sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a pink printed gown and carried a princess basket of white p o m p o n s , sweetheart roses and baby's breath. Bridesmaids were Miss Jill MacCracken of Davenport, Miss Virginia Leamy ot Boston, Mass, and Miss Cameron Sutton of Saratoga Springs. Miss Shelley Osterhout, sister of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. Flower girl was Lisa Black ol Brewerton, cousin of the bride. Ring' bearer was Darron Sansom of Clay, cousin of the bruit. Best nun was Terrance Deery of Oneonta. Ushering were Alaii Anderson of Ithaca, George McGurl, Robert Bookhout and Mark Mastro of Oneonta and Jonathan Perry of Greenwich, Conn. A buffet WE; served to ISO guests at Lorenzo's following the ceremony. After a ten day trip to the Virgin Islands the couple will reside in Oneonta lor the summer. They will return to Burlington, Vermont in the fall. Mrs. Herring is a graduate Oneoma High School and is a senior at SUNY, Plattsburg. Her husband is a graduate .Manlius Military Academy and is a senior at St. Michael's College in Winooski, Vermont.
