Hannig's attorney, Melvin Turk, pointed out that although there was no proof Hannig driving the car at the time the accident, he had paid the costs of damages to the other driver's car. He was acquitted by Judge John V. Diggins. Others brought before Judge Diggins on charges of driving after their licenses had been suspended were not so funtun ate. Louis A. Carletti, 500 block 15th St., Chester, and Roy J Mensing, 200 block Lincoln Collingdale, were both fined $100, after pleading guilty. Owens told Judge Diggins had already paid $85 in trate's court for summary tions which he was charged at the same time. Mrs. Lwellyn Clancy, 100' block Concord Ave., Drexel was fined $100 on a charge failing to stop at the scene accident. Folcroft police sai' the accident took place Dec. on the Primos Ave. railroac bridge. Police said damage in the cident was slight, and adde they could not assign responsi bility for the accident. Mrs Clancy was stopped by police few mintues after the accident they said. John McDermott, 1300 block Cherry St., Boothwyn, was $100 on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. Upper Chichester Police said he was arrested Feb. 1 after an accident at Cherry St. and Chichester Ave. Judge Diggins also ordered McDermott to pay $100 to. the owner of the car with which his vehicle collided.
