I, Henry Dean, will pay a reward of $50 cash for the arrest of the critter who stole my cayuse from pasture near Panther creek last Sunday afternoon or evening. The .thief is a short, heavily built man. lame and cross- eyed, and he took the road- leading- north. The cay use had no shoes on his front feet, and carries his head: to the left when loping. Should anyone encounter the man and think it too much trouble to arrest him, he can bo otherwise disposed of. and I will pay] $25 for the return of the beast. The* fellow has a gxm. but being- cross-eyed it is not believed that he can do any straight shooting. A letter or telegram will reach me at Devil's Elbow.
