Services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, in Metrocrest Funeral Home Chapel in Carrollton Carrollton with the Rev. Billy Buckingham Buckingham officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery in Austin. Mr. Arant was born Feb. 16, 1928, in Lubbock. He was a member member of the Petersburg Lodge No. 1126, the Scottish Rite in El Paso, and Kiva Temple in Amarillo. Surviving are wife, Jo; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gayla and Gait. Graydon of Austin and Lesa and David Doyle of Houston; a granddaughter, Kathryn Alexander Alexander Graydon of Austin; a stepdaughter stepdaughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Bobby McEwin of Paris; two step-grandsons, Chip and Chris MjjEwjn otParis; his parents'; Mr. Slid Mrs. WA.-Arant of New Df$lj a sister, Wanda Bea Arant of New Deal; a brother, Jerry Van Arant of New Deal, two nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce (Mrs. Paul) Olmsted. The family requests memorials be made to Landmark Baptist Church, 220 North Story Rd., Irving, Irving, Texas, 75061. Frances Bacy Frances Bacy, 61, 150 R. Marshall Marshall St., Cooper, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Birchwood Manor Nursing Nursing Home. Services are pending with Maxey Funeral Home. Annie Reasno Annie Reasno, 425 W. Shiloh, formerly of Blossom, died Tuesday, Tuesday, Jan. 8, at her home. Services are pending with Maxey Funeral Home. Barber funeral Funeral services Lura Faye Barber of Parkview Nursing Home were conducted Wednesday in Bright-Holland Funeral Home- Chapel with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating. Burial was in McDonald Cemetery. Bearers were Mike Figueroa, Billy Poole, Wayne Poole, Chuck Bo\yman, Garry Gentry, and Odis Northam. Mrs. Barber died Tuesday at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Jolly Peters ,, .COOPER -^ .Jolly Peters, 77, of Cooper died Tuesday, Jan. 8, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Friday, Jan. .11, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Johnson Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Charleston Cemetery. Mr. Peters was born Dec. 6, 1913, in Charleston, a son of Gasaway Gasaway and Nell Oats Peters. On Sept. 3, 1933, he married Lillian Woodard. He had lived in Delta County most of his life except for 20 years in Dallas. He was a member member of the Gibraltar Masonic Lodge No. 1179 in Dallas and a member of the Lake Creek Masonic Masonic Lodge No. 603. He was a farmer farmer and rancher and was a retired dragline operator. Surviving are his wife; a son, Cy Peters of Garland; two daughters, Jenny Guthrie of Houston and Lynda Hill of Flower Mound; three brothers, Bud Peters of Cooper, Brpwniejl'eters o/ 5 Cedai; Hill, .and grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren. He was precededin death by two brothers, Noel and Choice Peters. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
