Services for Mrs. H. Levad Set for Monday JOICE — Funeral services will be held Monday for Mrs. Henry Levad, 83, who died Thursday at her home west of Joice. She had been in failing health for the past % years. Services will be at 2 p. m. at the Winnebago .Lutheran Church west of Joice. The Rev. Robert Beckstrand will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Levad was born July 10, 1872, as Betsy Brue in Norway. Her mother died when she was very young and she came to the United States with her father and brother when she was 7. She lived in Winnebago County the rest of her life. She married Henry Levad on Dec. 28 ,1908. They lived at Lake Mills and on the farm near Joice. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Hazel) Lovik, Lake Mills, and Mrs. Vera Wheeler, New Richland, Minn.; three sons, Gordon, Forest City; Kenneth, Lake Mills, and Howard, Howard, Albert Lea; half sister, Mrs. Gus Sheimo, Lake Mills; a half brother, Oscar Brue, Des Moines; 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
