AS THE SUN. Monday, February 11. 1971 Rites set for Linkous, ex-Harf ex-Harf ex-Harf ord official Jarrettsvillc. Md. (Special) , A native of Tazewell county, Funeral services for William j 'a.. he had moved to Harford Lee Linkous. a larmer. insurance insurance salesman and former Harford county commissioner, will be held at 11 A.M. today at the Kurtz funeral establishment establishment here. Mr. Linkous. who was 77 and lived on a farm in Pylesville, Md.. died Friday after an apparent apparent heart attack. Before his retirement in 1966, he had been a salesman for the Company, with offices Air. for 25 years. He had also raised cattle on his farm for many years. An early enthusiast for soil conservation measures, he had countv in 191G with his family when it bought the Pylesville farm. A veteran of the Navy during during World War I, he served during World War II as chairman chairman of a draft board in Bel Air and as chairman of the appeal board of the state Selective Service System.
