Indiana Regional Medical Center, In• .(liana. ! • He was horn May 5, 1930, in Plum Creek Township, the son of Marlin and Florence Keeler Crownover. Mr. Crownover was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Sagamore; and the Antique Auto Club of America. . lie was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. . Army Signal Corps in the Panama • Canal area. I le was self-employed his entire life, first in the trucking business and most recently with his own auto and truck repair garage. His most recent mechanical specialty was building engines for antique cars. His mt'chanical interest and ability influenced his hobbies that 'included stock car racing as an owner and mechanic with his own . stock car, (101) during the late 1960s • and early 1970s. Equally, he enjoyed watching auto racing, restoring and exhibiting antique vehicles and gasoline engines. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren and his pet bird, Jake. Surviving are his wife, Frances Andring Crownover, whom he married March 25, 1951; three daughters: Annette Cooper and her husband, Ken, along wilh their children: Danielle and Kenny, all of Mogadore, Ohio; Donna Jackson and husband, Don, along wilh their children: Donnie, Daniel, Dionna, all of Phoenixville; Kathleen Bennett and husband, Rick, along with their children: Leanna Bulka, Richard, Skylarand Carson fiennett, all of Brush Valley; two sisters: Charlotte Ruliner anil husband, Ed, Shelocta; Louise Jewart and husband, Charles, Crcekside; and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. lie was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wendell "Wink" Crownover, in 1977. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Bowser- .Minich Funeral 1 lome, Indiana. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Rinnan Catholic Church, Sagamore, with the Rev. Fr. Michael P Sikon as celebrant. Interment will be made in the Elde-ilon Cemetery with •military honors provided by the VF'W Post 19"! 19 at graveside.
