THE D E N T O N R E C 0 R D - C R R O N 1 C L B PASS J cncrry. di*. expo* »Ud UxUyl Air Force To Bring Reservist Records Up To Date Sixty-three Dentoo County Air Force reservists are among the 2,500 men in nine Nor* Texas counties who now have an opportunity to bring their military records up to date. The Air Force opened a drive Monday to personally interview every reservists in this area to "bring his records up to date and 3ive the Air Force a. look at its reserve manpower." The reservists are being interviewed daily from 9:30 a. m. until 7 p. in. at 1522 Pennsylvania Ave. in Fort Worth. The survey is sche- duled to last through the fir*t part of January. Lt. Col. Lester C. Weaver, project officer for the survey, emphasized that the survey is not connected in any way with recall to active duty. He said, in fact, that there is no current policy to involuntarily recall Air Force re- servisU. Counties being surveyed other than Denton are Tarrant, Parker, Jack, Wise, EUis, Palo Pinto, Hood and Johnson. Essentially the information required by the Air Force fro-n each reservist consists of his present civilian occupation, Hi dependents, and his physic*! condition. "In too many cases the information the Air Force has dates from 1945 or 1946," Col Weaver said. Reservists have been notified by mail of the inventory and asked to designato a suitable time for interview. However, Col. Weaver urged reservists in this area who do not receive notification, of the survey to make an appointment regardless. Efforts will be made to schedule interviews at the reservist's convenience. Denton County reservists whose records are awaiting them at the survey life in Fort Worth are Marvin L. Self, Clifton Shaw, Haynes B. Smith, Harry W. Stanford, Durward E. Timmons, Robert B.
