THE RECORD OF ACCIDENTS. FATAL COLLISION IN A Y INE DROW-ED DROW-ED DROW-ED WHILE WATERING CATTLE CRUSHED BT A FALL OF EARTH. Wn.KESBAnRE. Penn., April 14. A collision occurred this morning in the Lehigh Valley Company's Company's mines between a train of empty ears and a louded train which had broken loose. James Barrett, Barrett, age 14, driver of the empty train, was instantly killed. As Stephen Corrigan was passing tbrouih the main gangway of the Lehigh and Wilkesbair Com. pany s No. 10 Colliery, at Sa5ar Notch, oa his way to work this morniug. a lar?e quantity of lire rlar fell on him, inflictinc injuries from which he died soon after. Rome. Ga.. The passenger train for ( hattanoojn, gome 20 mi an hour, ran into a freight box. near the city limits. The engine was wrecked and the engineer was bruised. Three coaches were damased badly. The passengers escaped without injury.
