Charlotte Angle Harvest Queen WESTERNPORT—Miss Charlotte Angle, a junior at St. Peter's High School, was elected "Harvest Queen of 1948" and will be crowned during the intermission tonight • at the harvest .ball Irl St. Peter's'High School auditorium. The' event ;s being sponsored by "The Peterian," student newspaper of the school. Miss Angle was 'elected queen over three other' contestants who will serve as her attendants during the coronation. The girls will be escorted by bays of the high school selected .'by the 'faculty. Charles Mills, president of the Junior drum, of which Charlotte is treasurer, will serve as her escort. 1 The ocher members of the queen's court will be Martha Ann Kenny, runnerup who lost by six votes, escorted by James Devine; Sally Mc- Goye escorted • by Frank Lavorata, and Mary Louise Fearer escorted by Timothy Davis. 1 Katherine Harris and Robert Neff, of the staff of Bruce High. School ."Spotlight," and Joan. Lambert and William Gannon, of the staff of the Piedmont High School "Scribbler," will also be members of the queen's court. Daniel Hahceb,-president of the graduating class of 1948, will crown the queen, and William M, Thompson will serve as master of ceremonies. ' Paul .Francis will play marches for the coronation ceremony and the school song for' the grand march. After the coronation a floor show will include a dance by Mary Kathleen Logscton, vocal duets by Donna Elias and Bernadette Pcndergast, and comedy- numbers by Mary Kay Poland and-Peggy Ann Raines. The Aristocrats Orchestra' will provide ior dancing from 9 to 1. The coronation will take place at 10:45. The dance is open to the public.
