No. 107 North Ninth street last evening, for the purpose of awarding con tracts for tbe work to be done in erecting four brick dwelling bouses on North Eighth street near the Junction. Forty bids were re ceived for the various branches of work to be done, and contracts were awarded as follows to dig the cellars, llolienbaob & Co. ; masonry Henry Kuhns; carpenter work, John F, Fisher ; bricklaying, liar ner & Eater! ine plumbing, William A. Heckman; tin - rooting anu Bpouung, u. v - oonnaaer & eon ; and painting, E. A. Weis. Tbe bids for several other branches of work and for other material suoh as the mill work and plastering, fur nishing lumber, lime, sand, sandstone bases. bricks were held under advisement, the con tracts ior tne same to ne awarded in several days. Tbe secretary, Mr. Fred. Stephan,was autnonzea to appjy lora building permit, and the work will be commenced at once. At a stated meeting of Keystone Buildlnr Association No. 2, held at Benner Hum ma's saloon, at the corner of Tenth and Washington streets, last evening, money was sold at a fixed premium ot ' - iU per share.
